Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignon with Vegetable Side

Zutaten

  • 4 filet mignon
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 2 onions
  • 450 g broccoli
  • 3 bell peppers
  • 200 ml olive oil
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Zubereitung

  1. Preheat the kamado grill to 200°C.
  2. Season the meat with salt and pepper to taste on both sides.
  3. Wrap each piece of meat with a slice of bacon.
  4. Chop the garlic and slice the onions. Cut the peppers into strips.
  5. Put half of the onion, four garlic cloves, the broccoli and the peppers into a larger bowl. Drizzle generously with the olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
  6. Once the vegetables are well tossed, put them on the grill for 10-15 minutes.
  7. In a pan, heat the remaining oil, then add the leftover onion and garlic. Saute them until translucent and fragrant.
  8. Then add the meat to the onions and sear them for 5 minutes per side. Sear the bacon on the edges for 30 seconds as well.
  9. When the meat has reached the desired tenderness, take it off and serve with the grilled vegetables.
