
Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignon with Vegetable Side

Zutaten
- 4 filet mignon
- 4 slices bacon
- 5 cloves garlic
- 2 onions
- 450 g broccoli
- 3 bell peppers
- 200 ml olive oil
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
Zubereitung
- Preheat the kamado grill to 200°C.
- Season the meat with salt and pepper to taste on both sides.
- Wrap each piece of meat with a slice of bacon.
- Chop the garlic and slice the onions. Cut the peppers into strips.
- Put half of the onion, four garlic cloves, the broccoli and the peppers into a larger bowl. Drizzle generously with the olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
- Once the vegetables are well tossed, put them on the grill for 10-15 minutes.
- In a pan, heat the remaining oil, then add the leftover onion and garlic. Saute them until translucent and fragrant.
- Then add the meat to the onions and sear them for 5 minutes per side. Sear the bacon on the edges for 30 seconds as well.
- When the meat has reached the desired tenderness, take it off and serve with the grilled vegetables.
